Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, Ph.D, CON, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Muhammadu Usman Sarki as a member of the Katsina Emirate Council.

According to a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet and Security, Geol. Aminu Tukur, on behalf of the Secretary to the Government of the State, the appointment was made in line with Section 5(1) of the Katsina State Emirate Council and Council of Emirs Law, 2025.

The statement noted that Alhaji Muhammadu Usman Sarki will represent the youth in the Katsina Emirate Council. His appointment takes immediate effect.

Governor Radda, while approving the appointment, expressed confidence that Sarki’s inclusion would strengthen youth participation in traditional and community affairs across the emirate.

Recipients of the letter have been directed to confirm their acceptance of the appointment in writing.
